Cameron Douglas, New Zealand's only Master Sommelier, has included not one but two of our wines in his list of the top wines he tasted in 2023!

te Pa Reserve Taylor River Pinot Noir 2019, Marlborough (95 Points & Outstanding) 

This wine punches well above its weight and for the price is rather outstanding. Aromas and flavours of dark plums and deep purple skinned charry flesh, layers of barrel spice and savoury complexities. Firm polished tannins and plenty of acidity contrast core fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet with weight and intensity, pinosity and complexity. Lengthy and well made, if have any of this wine in your cellar, feel free to enjoy this wine today or keep cellaring through 2029.

te Pā 'Oke' Sauvignon Blanc 2020, Marlborough (94 Points & Excellent)  

An excellent bouquet and palate with a smokey, fruit centric nose of grapefruit and white peach, lemon , apple then a lees and baking spices complexity. A satin touch on the palate is contrasted by acidity and core fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet. Spice and nut, barrel ferment complexities and a lengthy saline and mouthwatering finish. An excellent example of a barrel-ferment style. Best drinking from 2023 through 2030. Fantastic value and an excellent food wine.
